In a world where compassion often takes a backseat, let us unite in prayer, asking for hearts to be softened and eyes to be opened. Together, we can transform the way we treat the least among us, embracing the dignity of every soul.
Here’s a Catholic prayer for those who mistreat the poor receiving aid from the church:
Heavenly Father,
Poor-Church-Parishes
We come before You with hearts full of compassion for those who are poor and in need. Lord, You have called us to love and care for one another, especially the least among us.
We ask for Your grace to touch the hearts of those who curse and mistreat the poor, that they may see the dignity and worth of every person.
In Your infinite mercy, soften their hearts and open their eyes to the suffering of their fellow brothers and sisters.
Help them to understand the importance of kindness and generosity. May Your love transform their actions and lead them to show compassion and respect.
Jesus, our Savior, You taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Help us to follow Your example and to reach out to those in need with open hearts. Change the hearts of those who harbor ill will, that they may become instruments of Your peace and love.
Holy Spirit, fill us all with Your wisdom and understanding. Guide us to act with charity and humility, recognizing the presence of Christ in every person we meet. Protect the poor from harm and provide for their needs through the generosity of others.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
May this prayer bring comfort and hope to those in need and inspire a change of heart in those who mistreat them. If you need further support or have any specific intentions, feel free to share
