The individual responsible for this breach, who has a history of carrying out high-profile cyberattacks, is now promoting the stolen AMD data for sale on an online forum dedicated to hacking activities, further exacerbating the severity of the situation.

In response to this alarming development, AMD has publicly acknowledged the security breach and has taken immediate action by collaborating with law enforcement agencies and enlisting the help of a reputable third-party hosting provider to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.

This is not the first time that AMD has fallen victim to such malicious activities, as the company was previously targeted by the RansomHouse group back in July 2022, resulting in the theft of a substantial amount of data totaling over 450GB.
