Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to introduce a series of important bills during the upcoming Winter Session of Parliament, which will encompass significant amendments to key financial legislation, including the Reserve Bank of India Act, the Banking Regulation Act, and the State Bank of India Act.

Additionally, the proposed changes will extend to the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Acts from 1970 and 1980, reflecting a comprehensive approach to modernizing the banking framework.

In a related development, Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will present the Railways (Amendment) Bill aimed at revising the Railway Act of 1989, signaling a commitment to enhancing the operational efficiency of the railways.

Furthermore, Jayant Chaudhary, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, is expected to address the House with an update on the progress and implementation of the SANKALP Project, which focuses on skill development initiatives across the nation.
