We are a specialized law firm committed to leveraging technology to maintain a competitive edge in complex Financial Crime, Cyber Litigation, and Regulatory Compliance. We are seeking a visionary Legal Solutions Architect to bridge the gap between our legal practice and technology infrastructure.

This senior role is a crucial hybrid that requires expertise in process analysis, project management, and legal technology implementation. You will be responsible for analyzing our current workflows and designing and implementing new tech solutions that dramatically improve efficiency across all departments.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Process Management, or a related technical field. A Law Degree (LL.B.) or significant legal domain experience is highly preferred.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years directly in a Legal Operations, Legal Technology, or Solutions Architect role, preferably within a law firm or a legal tech vendor.
  • Process Methodology: Expert knowledge of workflow analysis, mapping (e.g., Lean Six Sigma), and the ability to redesign core legal and administrative processes (e.g., billing, e-Discovery, contract review).
  • Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in the evaluation, implementation, and management of core legal technologies, including:
    • Case Management Systems (CMS)
    • Document Management Systems (DMS)
    • Time & Billing Software (e.g., Clio, TimeSolv)
    • AI/ML-based Legal Review Tools
  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional technology projects, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations from conception to deployment.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma, or relevant Legal Tech certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Data Fluency: Ability to work with data to measure and quantify the ROI of technology implementations (e.g., measuring efficiency gains).
  • Vendor Management: Expertise in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and managing relationships with software providers.
  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical requirements and strategic value to both technical teams and non-technical legal Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis & Design: Conduct comprehensive analyses of current firm workflows (e.g., litigation support, research, client intake) to identify bottlenecks and areas for technology-driven improvement.
  • Technology Implementation: Lead the selection, customization, and deployment of new legal tech solutions, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and maximum user adoption.
  • Strategic Consulting: Work closely with firm leadership to align technology roadmaps with the firm’s strategic growth objectives and budget constraints.
  • Training & Support: Develop training programs and documentation to ensure lawyers and staff efficiently utilize new and existing technologies.
  • Risk Mitigation: Ensure all technology implementations comply with data privacy (DPDPA) and cybersecurity standards required for legal services.
