Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Status: Currently enrolled in a recognized, accredited LL.B. (3-year or 5-year course) or equivalent law school program.
- Academic Record: Strong academic performance is mandatory; candidates should ideally be in the top 25% of their class.
- Year of Study: Preference will be given to students in their 3rd to final year of the 5-year course or 2nd to final year of the 3-year course.
- Skills: Exceptional legal research and writing skills are non-negotiable. Experience with professional legal databases (e.g., Manupatra, SCC Online) is a plus.
- Legal Interest: Demonstrated interest or coursework in Cyber Law, Criminal Law, Evidence Law, or Financial Regulations (AML/PMLA).

Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities
- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on complex and often novel case topics related to technology and finance.
- Drafting: Draft clear and concise legal memos, briefs, research summaries, and preliminary sections of court pleadings.
- Case Preparation: Assist lawyers with case file management, document review, and E-Discovery related tasks to ensure trial readiness.
- Exposure: Attend client meetings, conferences, and court hearings/tribunals (High Court, Sessions Court) to gain practical insight into legal practice and advocacy.
- Digital Focus: Assist the team in correlating legal facts with digital forensic reports and cyber investigation findings.
