About the Firm & The Opportunity
We are a specialized law firm handling time-sensitive court filings and highly confidential legal documents. We require reliable and efficient Delivery/Courier Staff/Drivers to manage the secure and timely transportation of materials. This is a critical operational role that directly supports our litigation schedule and client confidentiality.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Licensing: Possession of a valid driver’s license (for two-wheeler and/or four-wheeler, as required) and a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of verifiable experience in a professional courier, delivery, or driving role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Local Knowledge: Excellent, detailed knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns in Mumbai and surrounding areas (Thane, Navi Mumbai) to ensure punctual deliveries.
- Educational Background: High school diploma (SSC) or equivalent is preferred.

- Trustworthiness & Discretion: Absolute integrity and discretion are paramount. You must be responsible for safeguarding sensitive, confidential legal documents throughout transport.
- Punctuality: Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting strict deadlines for court filings and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Secure Transport: Safely, securely, and punctually transport critical legal documents, court filings, correspondence, and materials between the office, courts, client sites, and other required locations.
- Logistics Management: Maintain an accurate and detailed logbook of all documents, deliveries, pick-ups, dispatch times, and recipient signatures for the chain of custody.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the company vehicle (if provided) is always clean, fueled, and well-maintained, promptly reporting any repair or service needs.
- Office Support: Assist with other logistical tasks as required, such as purchasing office supplies or managing small inventory items.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and internal security protocols regarding document handling.
