The Security Guard is a critical, front-line role responsible for the safety and security of our office premises, personnel, and confidential client information. We require a vigilant, disciplined, and reliable professional who serves as the firm’s first line of defense and maintains a professional atmosphere.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma (SSC) or equivalent is required.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of verifiable experience in a security role (e.g., corporate security, armed forces, or private security agency). Experience in a professional office environment is preferred.
- Certifications & Background:
- Possession of a valid Private Security Agency License or equivalent recognized security certification is mandatory (if applicable per state law).
- Clean criminal background check and verified professional references are non-negotiable.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods and responding quickly to emergencies.
Professional Attributes
- Vigilance & Observation: Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills for monitoring unusual activity.
- Communication: Clear, polite, and professional communication skills (verbal Hindi and English are preferred) for interacting with staff and clients.
- Discipline: High level of professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to security protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Access Control: Strictly control and monitor all entry and exit points of the building. Verify the identity and credentials of all visitors and ensure proper sign-in procedures are followed.
- Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct regular, documented patrols of the premises, both internal and external, and actively monitor all surveillance equipment (CCTV).
- Emergency Response: Serve as the initial point of contact for all security incidents, fire alarms, medical emergencies, and unauthorized access attempts, following established protocols.
- Documentation: Accurately maintain a detailed daily logbook of all security activities, unusual occurrences, and visitor records.
- Safety Enforcement: Ensure compliance with all office safety rules and regulations (e.g., parking, no-smoking policy, restricted areas).
